In this verse, Ganapati is praised as the giver of joy, the bestower of liberation, the protector, the destroyer of demons, and the remover of the devotees' sorrows.

He is the most fearsome to those who do not bow to him, radiant like the newly risen sun, the destroyer of the demons who are the enemies of the gods, and the protector of his devotees who seek refuge from great sufferings. He is the lord of the gods, the lord of wealth, the leader of the hosts, the embodiment of Maheshwara. I take refuge in him because he is the form of the Supreme Brahma, higher than everything, and forever worthy of being sought for refuge!

I bow to the great deity who bestows auspiciousness upon all worlds, who destroys wicked demons, who has a large belly, who wears the face of an elephant, who is the protector of the universe, who is full of grace, who is forgiving, and who grants joy.

Removing the sufferings of devotees afflicted by poverty, Ganesh, the beloved son of Shiva, is destroying the pride of the wicked. During the time of universal destruction, I worship the ancient Gajanana, who displays a terrifying form and adorns devotees like Arjuna with auspicious marks.

The beloved son of Shiva, the Lord of Ganas who shines with a single tusk, with an unimaginable form, removes the obstacles of devotees. He is the Supreme Soul who always resides in the hearts of yogis like the eternal spring. I always meditate on that one-tusked one.

Those who recite the Mahaganesha Pancharatna Stotra with devotion every morning will soon attain complete health, a life free from defects, good knowledge, the fortune of progeny, longevity, and the wealth of the eightfold prosperity.
